On rare occasion, your YCP email account may be compromised: someone else might be using it without your permission. If you suspect this is happening to you, immediately change your password. Then, check your Gmail settings (explained below) to undo any changes that the hacker may have made.
Check for suspicious settings
Note: You can only access all Gmail settings from a computer.
Sign into your YCP Gmail.
In the upper right, select the Settings icon (gear) > See all settings.
Review the following for insidious alterations:
Send Mail As
Filters and Blocked Addresses
Remove any unfamiliar filters.
Note: These send incoming messages to other labels.
Forwarding and POP/IMAP
Remove any unfamiliar forwards in the Forwarding section.
Note: This option is not available for employees.
