Qualtrics

Qualtrics is available for York College faculty, staff and students for use in conducting a wide range of online forms and surveys, including research surveys across the York College Community. Please be advised that all scientific research at York College that involves human participants will need IRB approval. (You can find more information about York College's IRB process at: https://www.ycp.edu/about-us/offices-and-departments/institutional-research/institutional-review-board/) While the LTS Department oversees Qualtrics, it is the responsibility of the researcher, be it faculty, staff or student, to follow proper IRB procedures and guidelines.

Getting to Qualtrics

  • Sign into MyYCP and click on the Qualtrics Icon
    • If you you are new to Qualtrics it will redirect you to a sign in page. Click on the "No. I don't have a preexisting account"
        • This will then auto-create your account.

Obtaining a user account in Qualtrics for York College

The York College user accounts are automatically created faculty/staff/students at the initial login to ycp.qualtrics.com. All autogenerated accounts start with a student researcher role. This role has restrictions are in place to limit some features of the system. It is recommended that all faculty and staff who are using Qualtrics contact the LTS Help Desk to ask for their account to be revised to the faculty/staff role.
